Scott and Heather
Just wanted to give you guy's a shout. Deika is doing great ! Thank's for
all your help, and for telling me to come see this dog. I have never taken
a dog that wasn't a pup, but you are right, she is the perfect dog for our
family. We purchased Deika at 10 months, and Scott told us this dog is
right for you and your family. She has taken our home as hers and
I mean hers. Nothing gets by Deika. She has adapted very quickly and
knows this is her home. Thank you guy's again for Deika and for your
training here at our our house and at your's. I will tell anyone who is
looking for a great dog, and most of all two people who really care about
their dogs, Scott and Heather are the ones to see.
Scott. Thanks for making training so easy! You have taught me a lot!
The best part is
I can see it everyday in Deika.
Thanks.

Hello Scott, Heather and Connor, thank you so much for taking Cora while
I was moving to Florida what a big help. Scott I can tell you worked with
her she is very obedient but is always ready to go, just wanting to do the
work, I enjoy that she waits to eat her food until I give her permission no
jumping in the dish before its goes down. The German commands will be
a little getting use to but they are coming along.
For those of you wanting a shepherd go to Scott, I went to see his dogs
and pups and was blown away by the quality, the level of training and the
fact all the dogs could be out together even females with other females
and there pups that says a lot about the dogs to me and there owners.
Scott is a straight forward person he is not a sales man unlike the other
kennels I went too before his, they wouldn’t let me play with the parents
Scott let me play and work his dogs he said “there is nothing you can do
that will phase them or disrupt there training” not many kennels will let you
do that with there most valuable dogs. Scott and Heather are very honest,
trustworthy people that are hard to find especially in dog breeders, and
importers. I will only do business with the Schnider’s and the people at
Von Der Schodin kennels, my dog Cora is the best dog I have ever
owned. Scott is always there if I need a hand or bend an ear even if its
not about the dogs. Scott is a person of integrity. Please post my email
and my cell phone so people can call or email me I am more than happy
to tell them about you, your dogs and my experience.

Scott and Heather,
Wanted to touch bases with you. Bara is doing fantastic, loving every
minute of every day. It's hard to keep up with her when we are
outside, tennis ball crazy and loves tug of war! Inside the house she is sooo
mellow. She is so loving, and yet incredibly protective. Once Mike or
I tell her it is okay, the person visiting is allowed full run of the
place. But they do not get past Bara without us saying so, she is serious
about that.
I cannot express how happy I am and how lucky I feel to have fostered
her. I know most people probably don't believe it when you tell them of the
arrangement we had, foster two litters and she would be ours. You are
a man of your word and in this day that is so rare. If anyone has questions
they can call my cell phone 509 899 1368. I would be happy to help in any
way. Thanks so much to both you and Heather for your ongoing
commitment to Bara, Diablo, Mike, and myself.
It seems she has passed along great traits to Diablo. He is the most
layed back puppy I have ever encountered. Does not seem to be fazed by
noises, strangers, car rides, or various places we take him to visit. He has
started alerting to cars that pull up to the gate already by barking a
couple times. Other than that we barely hear from him, we whines to be
let outside. He was very quick to house train. He is definately Mike's
dog, like Bara is mine. He is such a phenominally built dog, sleek black
coat, great top line, sturdy bone structure. We get so many compliments
about him for both his attitude and look. If you have any business cards to
spare, we would be happy to hand them out when people stop us to ask
about him.
Do you happen to have schedules for Schutzhund trials that Mike and I
can go watch starting next Spring? I am interested in seeing them. Let
either of us know and we'll coordinate to meet up with you at a few of them.
Again, I cannot thank you enough.

hi there!
well we've named our puppy kasch - it's german for like a blackbird. i
wanted to name him leon - german for lion and jeff wanted to name him
luther - german for warrior. and we both liked kasch, so kasch it is!
he is doing just fine and is learning the stuff he teach him. he weighs 16lbs
now. he is super confident, i can take him anywhere and introduce him to
anyone and he adapts, he never acts unsure or timid. as a matter of fact
at the vet's this week (i am taking him 3 places a week for socialization) the
people in the office said "it's refreshing to have a puppy come in that just
acts like they own place." so that is a nice little compliment for you.

Hi Scott,
Just wanted to let you know that Chaka (formerly Cilly) is doing great. She
is clean in her crate. She loves everyone. We have done some tracking,
agility and a little puppy sack work with her. We are also building her
retrieving drive. She loves all her toys. She will do short runaway bites on
her sack and she is barking nicely. She is buddies with the two cats
although she likes them more than they like her. She is going through the
tunnel on her own. She is looking good and eating well. In fact she keeps
the kitchen floor nice and clean. I've got to run, but will give you further
updates as we go along.

Hi I hope everything is going well in Washington. The weather has been
absolutely gorgeous here. Last week we got to take our horses and camp at
Big South Fork National Forest. It was beautiful. When the pups get a little
older I am taking them also.
They are really coming along with their training. And they are two totally
different personalities. Talla is eager to please but a little scatter brained at
times. I think her outgoing personality gets a little ahead of her thinking!
She will return a retreive but run past me like she cannot slow down and then
sit in front of me. She is also a great water dog. We have a duck house on
the pond and both dogs will get in it and float around. It is hilarious. They
are not afraid of a whole lot of things. Jeb is probably the best of the two as
far as minding. He is very smart and ready to go! I can tell him to stay and
hike past the creek and up the hill to the top pond and he will stay until I call
him (about 10 acres away). Talla slowly sneaks her way to me! But every
once in a while she stays right where she is supposed to be.
They are not afraid of the guns either. We started out with a 22 and have
worked our way up.
Oh yeah, Jeb will play dead if you point your finger at him and say dead dog.
We have laughed so hard at him.
If I am able to take video and send it to you, I will as soon as possible.
They have been a blessing and are such a big part of our lives now.
Thanks again and I hope we can earn some titles to make you guys and
Mom and Dad proud.

Hello Scott
Our new family member has been named "Drexler" and is doing very well. He
is gorgeous. He has "settled" right in, he is taking over the house. He
explores more of the house each day. I have a large home, 3,200 sq ft. with
three levels.
We kept him confined to the main and downstairs levels until just a few days
ago. He is very driven in that he now has to explore the rest of the house.
Every room, closet, bathroom, any and all space. I have a patio in the back
yard which is at the main level so there is a flight of stairs. The stair are "see
through," you know, the kind dogs don't like at first. Drexler for a "short" time
would not go near them, however I would watch as each day he worked his
way up a couple of stairs at a time. He would each day add to the previous
days gain, going up then turning around and going to the bottom until he now
goes up and down the patio stairs. He would not give up, nor be denied.
His body language with me and demeanor when we play tells me that I have
been accepted as the alpha male.
He still attacks his food although that he has calmed down a little since he
first arrived. He realizes that he does not have to compete for food.
Drexler has had his second visit to the vet and second set of shots. He
weighs 16 lbs and has pretty much double in overall size. He really keeps us
running all day. Tons of energy. He has been carrying around that 2 lb.
weight I told you he claimed for his own.
His favorite game ofcourse is to "tug" with the tug that I got from Ray Allen.
He also plays with a 9" Braided "Jute" Toy, designed by Ray Allen as an
introduction to a bite sleeve. His bite is developing and today he bit down on
the tug and held it while I lifted him off the ground.
I will write again and send more pictures as we get them. The pictures I have
sent are of Drexler on his lead and chasing a coke bottle. I do not let him
chew it up, however he loves chasing this darn coke bottle around the room
and back yard. I'm not sure if I attached the pictures correctly so let me know.
Thanks,

Hey Scott,
How's it going? We're doing great, enjoying little Athena (Turbo). She's
changed Tyson soo much it's unbelievable. He's such different dog. You
were right, she definitely the dog Vito was looking for.
I just wanted to let you know, that I've signed the guestbook. Let me know if
it didn't go through. Also, I received a call from some girl last week and
hopefully what I said to her encouraged her to come and see you.
Anyways, we want to come and see you again soon, so I'll have Vito call you
and arrange something. He says hi by the way.
Talk to you soon.

Corrine's Guestbook entry:
Hi Scott, We purchased Athena (Turbo) from you, and shes amazing. We just
wanted to say thank you for the amount of time you spent talking to us. For
months we spoke to different kennels and breeders, and your honesty,
quality of training and the love you have for your dogs.
